DM 93, the a/c is blowing cold air. A few times i have manually turned the ac switch to high or one notch below high and the air will for 2 or 3 seconds stop blowing then restart still blowing cold air. Has anyone had this problem before. Do you think the a/c switch on the dash is getting loose, minor short, etc or i may have electrical short in the wiring ( or loose, coroded ) wire. I could replace the switch myself to save labor. I have a multi-meter, but, do not know how to use? some help?

I'd check the fan speed resistor and connector behind/under the glove box, it's a common problem with tacomas. A few other guys around here will be along shortly with some good pics and testing info

Can you get the air to stop blowing if you wiggle the switch in each position?

I’d volt meter the switch, maybe put some dielectric grease on the connection points. More info on vehicle would help us. Year, model, miles ect

You need to catch it acting up, get a test light, and see what's missing.

Some common problem areas are the resistor and/or connector (if the blower doesn't work on high speed it isn't the resistor), blower motor and/or connector, blower switch and/or connector, and connector IA4 Pin 8 (Black/Yellow) behind the driver's side kick panel.
