I think they start at 41k now.

I also like the basic sr5 tail lights better.

You can't break them lol. They're flexible plastic. One of mine went flying across the garage and landed on the floor. Picked it up without any damage and I popped it back on after the install. :D

It's the ARB Touring 1250mm X 2100mm. They offer a bunch of different sizes. CVT and Roam Adventure Co. Also make similar products. I've been super happy with mine. It's survived several beach and camping trips.

We used to live in New Zealand where the Tacoma is the Hilux and they're referred to as a "ute". They rule the roads and back country. Sold like the one below at the dealerships. Yours could pass the ute test every day of the week mate. Good on 'ya!

In an effort to not have to buy new taillights I spent a couple days attempting to trouble shoot the Cali raised tails but it was all for not. They ended up essentially dying completely on my way to work last night (everything except the turn signal) so I had to Amazon some cheap ones to install today before work to get me by until I pick out some better ones.

Bummer. CaliRaisedLED has been super responsive to issues for me. Worth touching base with them to see if they'll make it right.

I installed the VLED taillight kit but kept all of the original bulbs and such just in case. Really like 'em and so far so good! More here.

I ended up stripping some of the connectors off and wire nutting them (just to see if they’d work) so I essentially wrote off getting the issues remedied by them.

Me being the nice guy that I am, I gave someone my factory tails a few months ago so I was kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place haha.

I do really like the VLED kit though. I may end up going back to factory and using them. Thanks.

Understood. Things happen. When I was searching for taillight options I kept finding positive after positive review of the VLEDs. Other full replacements had mixed reviews. I'm sure some are great though.

Too bad you're not local. In an effort to reduce the chrome bits on our Taco I replaced our OE taillight housings with some Pro/dark ones. So I still have the originals from ours. They're in perfect condition and I was thinking about selling them. They pop up on craigslist and FBMP here pretty regularly so I'll bet there's a reasonably priced set in your area.

Didn't want to make post so figured I would ask here. Has anyone done grill replacement/swap? I have 2023 SR5 SX, I want to install those raptor leds but my grill is not compatible. If I do so and swap the grill, will the front sensor be lost?

Replaced my SR5’s with one from Taco Garage. Sensor will still work fine, but will be on a different spot on the new grill. Lights from R4T.

Should not be a problem. As per Joe Rogan, Tacomas were built to last for 30 yrs after the end of the world. My kind of truck.

Did exactly what you want to do. Although ours is a TRD OR, the TSS is the same. Swapped our grill for an OE Toyota Trail Edition. Moved the sensor to the new position and it works perfectly.

You'll find that the Toyota OE garnish you'll need is insanely expensive, but aftermarkets work just as well. Per @OscarWildwood, I also bought the . It's hard to tell from the photo, but their garnish is a darker color than most others and matches the new grill pretty well. Lots of good YT DIY videos. Very easy to do. BTW, didn't do the raptor lights, but they are dead simple to do as well.

Install was easy peasy! Tried to attach a video but I think y’all already know how they work. The sequential pattern is smooth at butter. I did have to widen the wholes on both replacements so they sat flush once clipped in, but no biggy. Stoked!
