This isn't far from the truth! The first two days I spent cutting up two trees that got blown over, they filled my trailer 2x. Plus just lots of clean up and organizing around the house. First oil change on new mower. Cleaned up the pole shed and got a good grasp of things left to do on Corvette project.
Visit step-dad and a few short runs on new motorcycle. I know a few guys at work retirement age, say they wouldn't know what to do if they retired.
:rofl:I'm already looking at the calendar for when my next week!! :D

My #1 priority when I retire is to not work. The rest will take care of itself. :fistbump:

I pawned off the last kitten on my dad. I wasn't sure if it would be a good fit but I can tell dad just loves him to death. Couple of pictures one from a few years back when he could still ride. And now with his new friend. Dad was such a big and strong guy in his youth. I remember him 6'4" and 250 pounds with superman strength. The extra weight he put on in old age destroyed his knees. 77 now.20200830_160618.jpg IMG_0359.jpg

We're getting a little rain this evening. The rain we've had has really helped the grass out. Prior to the rains it was getting brown and crunchy.

If you make it out, and are in the Denver area, Slaughterhouse Gulch trail was awesome. Flexed my truck out with my LT to the point my rear flares would start to pop loose.

Goodmorning crew. I made it to work and even early as usual. :pccoffee:
@Hunterdc1 , wife had something like tennis elbow and Dr's went in there and fixed some tendons up and she hasn't had any trouble with it since.
I've got a easy job this morning and then something this afternoon that will be completely new to me.
New job assignment is something to do with sparger system at intake structure and is a temporary set-up (band-aid). Sparger system is made up of 2 pumps that keep sand stirred up and prevent the traveling water screen from silting in.
I think week of Labor Day going to take entire week off.

I was watching with CC on but a 1200$ fine to a company like that is a rounding error or interest earned in a day. Safety last.

    I saw that too... o_O

In the US the fines are higher just for a paperwork violation.
