    Good day.
I did search and read lots of threads on this, but was unable to find my answers.
I'm rebuilding my father's 2003 Tacoma truck and engine. I found a used 3RZ-FE out of a 2000 4RUNNER. When rebuilding I mixed and matched parts. Tacoma block, 4Runner head and intake manifold, headers, and injectors, but a Tacoma valve cover and air box wiring harness.
My question is: the 2000 throttle body has a hose going directly to the airbox (possibly for the IAC) the 2003 airbox doesn't have the male end. I could dent the airbox from the 2000 4 runner to fit over the 2003 Tacoma valve cover? Or I could drill a hole in the plastic 2003 Tacoma airbox and make my own male end?
I'm putting this out to the experts,.as I'm not sure how important this air hose is. I'm also doing the EGR delete at the same time.
