I love a good conspiracy theory. my favorite is HAARP being (the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program) a secret weapon that changes the weather. The big voice for this idea was this guy named Dr. Nick Begitch.

I use the title doctor loosely here because he got his degree from The Open International University for Complementary Medicine. If you want a good laugh, look at the other university course offerings and ask yourself how (or why) anyone that graduated from that place with a doctorate in anything can lay claim to the title with a straight face. Fun fact, the place is such a diploma mill that when you google the name an entirely new search filter tab opens up in Google.
You know how when you search for something there are options for Maps, Shopping, Images, and Videos? Well, when you perform a search on that university a filter tab for Fake shows up. It's that bad. 10/10 would recommend you look this school up, it's a great rabbit hole for when you're drunk.

Anyhow, this Begitch lunatic published a book titled "Angels Don't Play This HAARP" back in 1995 (and a reprinting in 2002). He uses a Dr Bronner's Soap bottle writing style to express his ideas that the antenna array is used to heat the ionosphere to control the weather, and/or to fry or control people's brains. None of this is an exaggeration, he actually makes these claims.

My favorite part about this: he actually cites everything. But the citations aren't from credible peer-reviewed studies, they're from other retards that share similar delusions. Guys like Michael Hutchison, who wrote a book titled (and again, I'm not making this up) "Mega Brain: New Tools for Brain Growth and Mind Expansion". Apparently Hutchison claims that he can prove how electromagnetic energy (what they both refer to as "electromedicine") can cure (yes, cure) alcoholism and drug dependence, correct ADD and ADHD in children, and heal nervous system disorders like Parkinson's or Bell's palsy.

I was listening to Art Bell back in the day and heard Begitch talk about how the entire Earth emits Beta waves that are identical to a human 5-year-old child's brain, you know the age where kids use their imagination the most. (NOTE: the planet doesn't emit any radio waves, it just reflects external sources of electromagnetic energy, like solar flares and lightning).

I have a standing theory about why this dude is as creepy-stupid as he is.
His father was elected to state senate, then congress (the House), and then died in a plane crash. Then Junior did a lot of drugs, by himself, in Alaska.

If you guys want me to go into the conspiracies surrounding the National Radio Quiet Zone, I can scratch some of the misinterpretations of radio telescopes by Appalachian toothless meth-headed hicks. just let me know if there's some interest.

 

that's not entirely true, while there are some animals that can live at those depths without harm or deformation... humans aren't among them. we would fold up.
it's mostly because we have gasses inside of us, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen. That's mostly from breathing.

but then we get into the gastrointestinal tract, where food breaks down and creates this stuff called exogenous gas as food is broken down and digested by enzymes and bacteria.
and there's a problem with that, gas is compressible.

and none of that matters when you're in a pressurized container reaching crush depth, which is around, you know... 350-400 atmospheres.

there is very likely no piece of any of those people on that submarine that could take up very much space in an empty matchbox.

the crushing pressure at that depth would be the exact opposite of being vaporized, not exploded. literally imploded. it would be like trying to push every surface of a person's body through the surface on the opposite side of that body, nearly instantaneously.
