Nitto tire availability ?

I am seeing the Nitto Recon Grappler A/T in 35X11.50R17 LT 118S C1 BSW on the Discount Tire site for sale, but my local DT in Pearland Tx says Nitto discontinued that size due to low sales.

I’m a little confused because it’s a new size, new style and for sale on the DT site ?

 

@5465 we do apologize, but our website defaults to "usually available" even on product that is on national back order with no ETA. All we can do is wait to see if Nitto starts production again. There is availability in the Ridge and Trail Grapplers though.

 

It says…..Available Now in 1-5 business days ?

 

I realize it can be frustrating, I have verified through the manufacturer, Nitto, that there are no tires available for order at this time. I will forward this information to our web site department to see if a change can be made. Thank you for your patience.
