So I’ve got a 1998 Tacoma I haven’t been able to drive in almost a year.
What was originally a p0171 (fuel system too lean), turned into multiple misfires, so I replaced all 6 fuel injectors. After that the 171 code turned to a 172 code (fuel system too rich) and the engine continued to idle rough but no misfire codes. After changing a slew of parts, I put the old injectors back in and the truck ran perfectly for about a month, though the 171 code returned. Then after a month of driving with seafoam treatment the misfires returned with a vengeance. Codes p0301 and p0300. I put the new injectors back in and the 172 code returned but the misfires remained the same. Also worth noting the tuck vibrates aggressively whenever you depress the gas, most notably at 20+ mph but it’s been doing that for a while now.

I just did a compression check and everything came back good. Was on my way to get some new cheap injectors thinking the “OEM” ones I bought on eBay were no good but I’m tired of throwing money away. You guys are my last hope!

I haven’t read the MAF data myself but the guy I took it to said it was good. I replaced it about 2 years ago.
Haven’t noticed any vacuum leaks. What’s the best way to check?
