    Hey everyone,

I see lots of topics on this all over the forum and I have tried every potential fix that has been listed there and to no success.

    Things I have tried:
    • Lube in between isolators
    • DEEP clean with leafs spread apart
    • Checked spare tire to see if that was root of sound
I am about to lose my mind and I just really am seeking a quieter back end. Does anyone have any newer suggestions for fixing this?

What kind of grease/lube do you use? Is this in between the leafs or at the bushings where it connects to the frames?

I use whatever I can get at tractor supply that will work in my grease gun. On the bottom of each leaf spring pack there will be 2 or 3 little plastic holes. Its lubes up some sort of puck between some of the leafs themselves

Get rid of those stupid yellow spring isolators! I replaced them with Dorman isolators and all of the noise I was dealing with went away. Best part about it... I don't have to lube or clean the springs anymore.

So interestingly the spring isolators I have are all black. Maybe I should just go ahead and replace them anyways. How many do you need to do the whole back end? Is it eight per side?

The key difference with the Dorman isolators is they have a rubber piece separating the metal spring from the plastic. I was at my wits end and this was the last thing I tried and it's been quiet ever since.

Do you have a link to the Dorman isolators?
