ladder rack options

    This is my first time owning a tacoma. Always wanted one and now wish I had maybe gotten a tundra... I want a ladder rack on my truck and the universal one I bought doesn't fit. Seems the side rails of the bed along with the integrated tie down system doesn't support a ladder rack? Can anyone lead me in a better direction?? I have a 3 person kayak and two singles I am trying to carry mainly. open to options other than a rack as well... should I just do a roof rack? helpppp!

    My brother is in process of installing a bed cap with roof rack along with a cabin roof rack for ladders and a canoe.

    If the ladder / kayak are really long might consider a roof rack and matching height bed rack.
