Santino from late 2022. We miss him very much.

 

I understand.

 

We live in the San Gabriel mountains foothills, spring time we usually see the most (when the bears come out of hibernation to raid people's trash cans) but in the summer they start coming down looking for more water sources and what not.

the peacocks are the worst, they are so freaking loud at night. And they will see their reflections in parked cars on the street and attack them, leaving your car all scratched to hell.

 

Sounds like a great place, to visit. I grew up in the mid west and didn't have any of those issues. Except the skunks. We had a den under our front porch this spring. And the accompanying fleas which Tessa got about the time we found out the skunks were there. They are all gone now.

Here we go again. Looks like we will be bring some more pups from the shelter.

 

And the other one. We adopted this one’s sister, Shadee almost a year ago. Apparently this one was abused when it was adopted out, which drives me f’ing crazy. Just let the dog go…what hell is beating a dog do for anything.

 

This is the one we adopted a year ago…Shadee. Might be the sweetest dog I have ever encountered.

 

This little guy stole the show…went in to give donations…came out with 2 dogs. Lol, ain’t life grand.

 

Looks like Siberian Husky/Pittie mix, with those eyes, ears and face markings. Beautiful

He may have a propensity for digging, be forewarned lol

 

Lol, so funny you said that. He was diggin already!

 

Ha, I've had so many dogs that were diggers, but I have always heard that huskies are known to be diggers and escape artists. I was worried about that with my Shibas since they are supposedly closely related to huskies, but apparently they don't like to get dirty. That said, they can open doors and will bolt if they see an opening.

It's been getting warmer during the day so I ran him this morning. He's passed out now. Breakfast untouched.

I got him a fake duck that even came with duck stank but I totally forgot to bring it. Oh well. He loves the ball...
