Well I ended up buying a 2005 V6 Prerunner not too long ago to serve as my daily. Being how I am, I can't leave anything alone.

    Specs:
    1GR-FE V6
    A750e 5-speed auto
Limited slip rear diff with 3.73 gears
    All stock suspension (For now)
    Tow package (Whatever that entails)
Weird passenger seat that turns into a desk thing

    Current stuff done:

    (2-2-18)
    Ebay AC knobs
JL Audio C1 690x 6x9's in the doors
Some kenwood 2 din unit that came with the truck
Do 3rd gen rims count as a mod? Sure why not.
    Wet Okole seat covers
    Weathertech floor mats
Removed the running boards (made it super awkward to get out of the truck)
    Installed URD true CAI

Did a full fluid flush once I got it; transmission, diff, engine oil, powers steering fluid. (I have yet to flush my blinker fluid but its on the list too).

    Potential future mods:

-Front end swap to 2012-15 with hood scoop
    -Rear sway bar
-Rear disc brake conversion for no other reason than: why not?
-Possibly upgrade the front sway bar but maybe not because I like the soft ride compared to the full poly suspension of my first gen.
-Long tube headers of some variety
    -Upgraded y-pipe
    -3" catback probably
-Radio is kinda weak so I'll probably install an amp at some point
-I would like to switch to a 10.5" or 265mm wide tire at some point, the 245's look to skinny imo.
-Some sort of organization box for the rear because I'm tired of stuff flying across the cab.
-After doing the performance stuff I'd like a way to tune it somehow, so maybe the OVtune touch screen thing? Maybe something from URD? Not sure yet.
-Definitely want something that can tune and detune the trans, kinda similar to the ECT button. I think the OVtune thing can do that?

(2-2-18)Possibly getting installed later today assuming the post office does not screw me over:

URD true cold air intake (installed 2-2-18)

@Torspd After some more runs Im thinking I spun the tires on that 6.4 sec 0-60 mph run like you suggested. I did a few more runs and it averaged out to be about 7.6 seconds to 60mph. I'll definitely be trying to improve this. (Gotta beat my friends Civic Si somehow...he does it in 6.8 seconds)

Here's how it's sitting right now as well as the above mentioned stuff (2-2-18)

The X Runner style build is very tempting. We'll see. I just don't wanna sacrifice too much in the way of comfort.

In for the peer pressure.

The good thing is as far as exhaust are concerned, that you only need to buy headers. Since you can make your own y-pipe and cat back with your welder. And if you can't do it with your welder and tools, then we can do it at my place.

Making my own exhaust is probably my best bet. I don't want something super drone-ee sounding while cruising, but I still wanna open it up a bit. How hard would it be to do away with the primary cats and not pop the check engine light?

You could try the spark plug defoulers. Don't think you'll have good luck. There may be instructions on how to build one. Just have to be resourceful.

The post office was nice yesterday and decided to deliver the intake. Install was mostly easy except for the 2 piece bracket that supports intake in front of the radiator.

Definitely noticed a little kick in power and the thing screams at 4 grand on up. I love it. Next will either be a cat back or Xrunner rear sway bar, but probably a rear sway bar since that is easier.

Not a ton of install pics unfortunately, mostly because I was so excited to get it on. The biggest improvement was the 0-60 time. Previously I was averaging about 7.6 seconds and now I'm consistently getting 7 seconds flat. I'm thinking a full exhaust and tune and I'll easily catch that Civic. A little more tire won't hurt the off the line grip either...

They're great. No grabbing anything at all and the red goes well with the red on the outside of the truck. To get them to bet super tight you might wanna remove the seats. I didn't but they fit fine.

Much more room, but I wish I bought a 4 door. I sorta forgot about this thread. Needs updating.

I have plans for the 99 still. As life goes forward they get harder to make real but in the process have become more realistic.

Right now I'm looking for a decent mpg beater so the 99 can potentially sit in the shop for a little bit.
