So I go over a small speed bump occasionally where only one side of the vehicle goes over the bump. I get what sounds like plastic rub, I rocked the bed while stationary and it sounds like it’s coming from above the gas tank. Any ideas?

The bed pocket might be loose?

Jack the truck to unload the leaf springs and blast the gaps between the leaves with water. Blow out the water. Spray with some form of lubricant you have around, or even WD40.

If the noise stops, you found the source. For really cheap. Of course you'll have to consider other methods for a longer lasting fix.

If it doesn't stop, keep investigating.
