WTF do you need a 32oz water bottle for?
Can't stop for a refill? driving under the influence of chemicals?

    I just don't get it.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Actually laughed out loud. Every time someone talks about large water bottles somebody always comes out of the works in a hostile tone demanding how one human being could possibly consume a whole 32 oz of water.

Not difficult at all. There were a main set of instructions and another partial set specific to our truck. The main set kind of contradicted our specific set, but you just go through the Tacoma portion and then continue on with the main set jumping to like step 6 or 9 or something.

    It's basically this.

Remove bulkhead rail, add foam on each side where it meets side rails, remount using the same torx t30 screws.

Remove stock side rails/tie down rails.

Slide aluminum mounts into new siderail mount/track. One per mounting screw you just removed from the side rails. Set new tracks on siderail, slide all the way forward to the bulkhead, tighten screws at each aluminum mounting point into previously mounted tied down rail holes. These aluminum mounts not only mount and support the new MX4 track but are pre drilled and tapped so you can remount your stock side track/tie down rail again. Remount your tie down track on those Lowe mount holes.

Then lay tonneau cover on track nearest the bulkhead/rear window. Unfold once, mount two plastic clips, add a through bolt, get underneath and add a few washers to that bolt and a handle type bolt.

Unfold cover, square it up, fold it up careful not to take it out of square. Tighten up those handle bolts and you're done.

The warning about drilling the drainage holes is legit, the driver's side fuel line is only about 1" below the hole that's predrilled, but you have to open it up to about 5/8". It's very easy to do, just be aware not to go too deep once you penetrate the bedliner.

    And you're done.

A "testing her patience" Wife; Bilstein 6112 / 5160; Prime XR Plus on all windows; OEM Premium Headlights; OTT; Falken Wildpeaks / TRD SEMA Wheels; BAK Revolver x4s bed cover; alot of small interior stuff
So I have been considering getting different wheels for my 2023 Trail. I was looking at the Method 703 16 x 8 with 0 offset, or SCS Ray 10 with the -10 offset. I probably will stay with the 265/70 tire size, but considering the 265/75. I just want to make sure I dont have any rub on the stock UCAs and fenders. But I cannot find information on the offset for the stock wheels. I am using the stock wheels as a baseline.

    1. Does anybody know the actual offset for the TRD Pro / Trail Edition wheels? I have seen +13, 0, and +4 offset
    2. What size wheel / tire set up can I get to avoid UCA and fender rub? My truck has a 1.5 inch lift in the front utilizing the Bilstein 6112 (9/7 setting), and .5 inch block in the rear.

I know there is a thread that deals with this topic, but I have noticed this thread is way more responsive with just about any topic.

    Appreciate any information.

Hey me too! 4th of July sale was a good excuse to pick up something I’d been wanting for a while. Install took less time than digging through the shed to find my locking hitch pin.
Prior to installing I dremeled a ton of rust off my hitch and painted it.
I had read on here that this stuff is a perfect match for RCI skids and figured I’d check it out for its rust resistance. Turns out it’s also a perfect finish match for the hitch. Worked out great, but prepping it took forever.

I carry a gallon jug on the floor of the passenger side. Yah, It rolls around at times, but the cap screws on, so no biggie.

This is completely contradictory to your initial goofy take. “Can’t stop for a refill?”

You gotta carry a gallon being this salty.

me too, i dont get the need for a pitcher size container, and the need to modify the console, there are 10 cupholders so just get 2 containers, are they driving for 10 hours straight with diapers, these gas hungry tacomas got to be filled every 2.5 hours, and if its needed for camping i hope you have an ice chest instead. :anonymous:
