kn air filter I'm gonna toss, otherwise stock.
I bought this 2004 Toyota Tacoma two-wheel drive 2.4 5 speed with 82,000 original miles that was my Pappy's truck, after the folks died I bought it from the Family Estate, repainted it a little different color than the original red color looks almost the same but it is different because of clear coat peeling. Only thing not stock on it is K&N air filter which I'll be tossing here shortly. Has 82,000 original miles on it, over 20,000 of that was towed behind a motor home. Was wondering how to get a little more pep out of it without doing anything drastic. I was thinking maybe a header I live in Oregon where there's no smog check I could even not have a catalytic converter on it oh oops sorry I take that back! Just wondering if I get a little more pep out of it, I do see the small superchargers on Amazon don't know anything about them, or turbocharging, don't know anything about that either. I'm 61 years old and used to the old verbiage, there's no replacement for displacement! Used to Big Block Oldsmobile Dodge and things of that nature. Just curious what information I can get on that, and thanks for letting me join your Tacoma world. We'll put a picture of it soon, I also wondering how much that truck can tow, I have a nice flatbed trailer that I haul my Max 6x6 amphibious vehicle on but I'm kind of wondering if it's too heavy to pull with this pickup. Thanks for any advice you can give, talk to you soon.

I respect the ambition, but realistically, you're not starting with a great platform for performance mods. The truck sounds awesome as it's configured now. It may not be the fastest, most powerful truck on the road, but it sure is one of the most reliable and functional. I would keep it stock and enjoy it. You're correct, get rid of the K&N and put an OEM paper air filter back in there. The information super highway says your truck will tow 3500lbs. I'm in Oregon. Seriously, if you ever look to sell that truck, send me a message.

By the way I kind of explain that wrong the clear coat was peeling on the truck and I repainted it kind of a blood orange is what I call it and it has pearlescent and metal flake in it very fine, the paint dealership was missing I forget one of the components on that paint which that stuff was like $250 a pint, and it has five coats of clear over it it looks great I'll I'm going to be washing it and waxing it and everything here and I'll post a picture of it, what is a pickup like that worth? Static curiosity it has decent tires on it gets 27 miles to the gallon, I'm 6 ft 3 290 lb sometimes it's a little hard for me to get in and out of them disabled. What would something like that be worth? Or is it the old it's worth whatever you can get for it! No rips in the upholstery or anything like that like I said I'm going to wash it and everything and then I'll put a picture of it up it's a nice looking truck and it also has a Line-X bed liner sprayed in bedliner thing too.

You know, just thinking about that apparently it would have to have a receiver hitch on it to tow that $3,500 lb, all this has is a ball on the stock rear bumper. I think 3500 lb wood yank the bumper completely off of it!

I have no idea why this thing put three pictures of that quad on there I only wanted one! I love computers about as much as I like high siding a motorcycle on the pavement!

I wish I could strange this speech to words, this is the worst misspelling and plain making up its own words, buckhunter.
