Silly question but lean around turns? As in you lose handling?

Not at all, I'd call it a little floaty like a full size car from the 70s. Or when your standing up on a bus when it takes a sharp turn, its not going to loose control, it just leans a little more than before.

I have a tendency to drive a little quick, spirited. I bought a truck to slow myself down, so having the truck lean a little more in turns goes with the theme of my purchase.....and it's better off road.

Just looked it up and the Sport has the same size tires as my 2919 F150 that drove like a dream. The Sport is about an inch wider but it goes over bumps and pot holes so well. I'm stoked. Loved those wheels even though the looked tiny on the F150. This seals the deal for me 100%.

I also had a Tundra for a month that had the 20 inch stock wheels and was terrible going over any bumps. Thats been my only experience. The F150 and Sport 17s stock were ideal side wall and size for driving. I didn't even worry about pot holes or anything in the F150. Hope the Taco is similar.

I can tell you removing the sway bar on a snowmobile is not a great idea if ridden hard in bomb out conditions with lot of off camber moguls. This changes the suspensions spring rate, making it softer, and will not allow the sled to fly level when coming off moguls. As speeds go much higher, the sled becomes flat out dangerous to handle.

SR utility package or SR w/o utility package 2.7 4cyl access cab. If you don't like driving the base truck, the increased power from the V6 or the other amenities of the the upper trims. Are not going to make you like the truck anymore. If you like the base truck truck, and want more power and features that's another story.

Ha yeah, why I switched out shocks and springs. Needed the long bed though.

Exactly why I went with it over the TRD Pro I was looking at. It also helped that it was about 10k cheaper lol.

Removing your front sway bar on a street driven vehicle is extremely dangerous. If you have to make a sudden evasive move at highway speeds, you will likely lose control and possibly wreck, or worse, kill someone. Save that stuff for off hiway use only. I like my sport, but I don't do the off roading thing. Mine is used as a general purpose utility vehicle, so that trim works well for me.

Trail Edition is more expensive than the Sport/Off Road.

Don't waste your money on that 4 cylinder turd OP. If you must have a four banger, wait for the 2024 model.

I'd say buy something else altogether over a new Tacoma, if buying a new truck. You get more truck for your money. What I'm saying is test drive the base truck no matter what truck it is, if you test drive a Ram 1500 Tradesman and hate how the truck drives. The Ram Rebel isn't going to drive any better than the Tradesman because it has leather seats more HP and a bigger screen it's still a Ram 1500.

I wouldn't mind having a '23 SR 4cyl AC but I don't want to trade my 4cyl RC, I'm sure I'd regret doing that. Having a new SR to run around in and keep for a decade or more sounds like a good idea. I like the OR and other V6 Tacomas, but I like the more simple SR trim. I don't really need two 4cyl Tacomas tho, and the TRD trucks are about $10k more. Toyota does offer the V6 in the SR.

I got the Sport but had the TRD lift kit installed , love the ride , much softer than the sports I tested without it and no brake dive I’ve read about on some models.
