Why doesn't any 3rd gen aftermarket do this? (Bumper Question)

I'm REALLY jealous of how simple the winch mounts are on Jeep Wranglers.

Why doesn't any aftermarket shop try a simple stinger type bumper (or just something that juts out) with a flat exposed winch mounting plate?

This guy below basically just made an adapter for a Wrangler bumper. I personally can't stand the "slimline" cancerous tumor style bumpers but I'm also trying to cut down on weight.

I'll probably just be stuck doing a hidden winch mount but I wish it was more accessible!

That is one ugly bumper, probably why they don't make it. Personally I think it sticks out too far.

You ever seen how much space there is between our radiators and the front grill?

Why would you not use that space for a winch?

Who wants a bumper that sticks out so far?

I'm not saying it needs to stick out as far as this picture, but it would be nice to see something that was like a "hidden" but a little more open without being one of those "slimline" types. Maybe it just isn't feasible without modifying the plastic grill section... I dunno.

Is that a Warfab? It looks really good. I've been trying to figure out a front bumper with full headlight hoops, but most of them sit out so far away from the grill/headlights. Yours looks pretty tight to it, which I'd prefer.

I get it. I have the Body Armor Desert bumper. It has enough actual bumper to push the brush etc out of the way.
