What tire size is this? I have a TRD Sport as well and will be getting some new tires soon. Looks great!

 

These are the open range AT tires from les Schwab. 265 70 r17. Perfect balance of steering control and road comfort with these. Like the Toyo open country ATII tires.

How do the 35s ride? Are you tuned?

 

They are actually really fuckin smooth. I’ve had all the offerings from Falken. Their MT, AT & now this. I’ll say this bridges the gap between for a happy medium. So far I love them. The way they look and the way they ride… they are quiet. I’m not tuned but I am regeared to 5.29’s and lockers front and rear.

 

A good off road tire is good on road as well. Hard to find a good balance. Sounds like a good tire tread (pun). Just looking em up and those are some expensive tires. 1500 for a set of 4 online. I’m running mazama open range AT tires and I paid 1700 at les Schwab for them. A little rumble on cold runs but after a few miles they smooth out.

Picked up my 23 MT OR Premium in May. Just a few small additions so far. Got the TRD Pro shift knob, interior LED kit and a bed mat. Blacked out OEM heritage grill just arrived. (TRD lift kit version) Hopefully get that on this weekend. Future plans.. TRD Pro Tacoma wheels (current iteration) wrapped in some 285/75/r16 Toyo Open Country AT’s. Bilstein 6112 leveling kit and a Westcott Collar for a total of a 3” lift up front. Bilstein 5160’s in the rear. Not sure if I’ll go with a block or leaf pack. I’d like to add a Leer Cap down the road. Camburg UCA’s and I’ll replace the needle bearing while I’m in there. Wet Okole seat covers will probably come next though. Yeah.. gonna cover the leather seats. Not a huge fan of leather but the Premium package came with the MT I wanted so… Any different opinions on the suspension/lift I’ve chosen?

 

Congrats on the purchase and build. I went with a Leer 100XR and absolutely love it! Fold down front window, side windoors, the back hatch locks with the truck…it profiles with the truck nice! It’s also rated(according to the shop I bought it from) to carry 300 lbs dynamic weight and 600 static.
