What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Getting my decal side-gig going, so I had to make and apply a few things to the truck. The bubbles ended up working themselves out of the vinyl.

 

I’m still cutting. Normal driving I’m no longer rubbing. U-turns and full lock I’m going to need to push caster to +4. I’m at like 3.4 so it’s the caster that’s going to give me Space in the back of the wheel well. I’ll continue to trim after this upcoming week and update

Okay, what kind of tires and wheels and do you have lift? Any skid plates on it? Where did you do this driving?

It's my normal driving up to 15miles at a time. Combination stop/go 30-55mph. Mild to moderate hilly streets in the Midwest.
There is no magic fix it. Just trying to keep things in top performance range for my driving style and location.

 

How was the install on this? I see there are plugs in my frame where I think this would mount. So no drilling...?

 

It’s very minimal. I don’t want to trim trim the black fenders halfway just yet. It looks good the way it is. I’ll have to really think about this before I start chopping more shit.

Best I did on my 2018 was 610 km (380 miles) after some long highway runs for work. Generally 90 km/h (55) with cruise. (Can’t speed on duty)
That’s with Toyo 235/85/16 tires so the real range was about 400 miles.
That’s with a manual running 91 octane.

 

Very straightforward. No drilling but you do need to enlarge an existing bolt hole in the frame.

 

This weekend was a few little things; installed OEM running boards, LED bulb swap in the interior, License Plate light cover from a TW member (i think), Blackout on the exterior emblems.

I had so much fun trying to figure out how i F'd up the dome light, even pulled the fuse and it was that i had the interior lights switched to off.

I appreciate the threads on here so much as I'm completely new to all of this.

 

@Prodigy926 - any suggestions on how to pop the bulb out there? i dont have massive hands but i couldn't twist it enough to get access to the bulb.

Relocated the tag cause it kept getting mangled. Had a hard time picking a tag bracket. I almost died laughing at this one.
