good day members .this is my first post.so i own a 2022 tacoma double cab with 18000 miles. i have this issue which started couple thousand miles ago.i am hearing this creakingnoise sometimes when i turn sometimes when i go over a hump.took it to the dealer.i went for a test drive with the mechanic who at first told me that because my vehicle was not a mercedes that i should expect to hear noises.this got me upst right away i lost it.anyway he checked and discovered that the holes for the bolt s for the cab bushings were drilled off center so the metal was rubbing against the frame.he said he would have to drill new holes to correct the problem.dont know if i like that idea.the thing is i think these precision holes front and rear should have been drilled in a jig. so if the front two are off center it means all 4 holes would be off center.the noise is driving me crazy.is there a solution for this problem?well other than just keep changing bushings?

    Welcome to the Forum!!

Find another dealer!! Is your Truck under warranty?

The holes are in the Cab mounts before they get welded to the frame and the cab. There is always a little margin for error .

Something is in the wrong position .Can you take pictures ?

it all depends just what will make you happy myself drilling new holes on a truck this new would not be an option. An out of warranty repair would be make new plates for the effected cab mounts to correct the misalignment . I doubt a dealer could do little more then put on a band aid.

    Best of luck!

i actually took the extended warranty when i purchased the truck.how else can this problem be corrected without drilling new holes to center the bolt and stop the friction and the noise.?

Did you not read what I said or can you not understand what I said??

Without seeing what the problem is. I can only give a limited answer ..

Which I already did. drilling new holes just compounds the problem. You only have a limited amount of load bearing surface removing more surface area does not help.

Are all the cab mounts in the wrong position ??

Is it the bottom mount welded to the frame ? The Top mount welded to the cab that is in the wrong position?
