Can someone help me so I don't have to go back to the dealership. I have a rattle in the dash only when I accelerate. I was told it could be a number of things, such as the heat shield or skid plate. Anyone have any in put on this? I'm slightly OCD and it drives me crazy.

start holding things. but the skid plate or heat shield are not in the dash ;)

check the visors, radio bezel, dome lights/overhead console/sunglasses holder, and vents for starters.

This made me laugh cuz I know the heat shield and skid plate isn't in the dash and that's what people have been telling me lol. But the truck is still fairly new and me being OCD I've checked everything I could while driving ...lol... It only does it when accelerating and when the rpm hits 3,000 and it sounds like it comes from the center of dash towards windshield.
