You know it is people like that seem to live to 100 and pass quietly at home.

The ones that live and work as safe as they can fall over at 40 . Then some get taken out by a drunk driver. Never having any idea just what happened.

    Good Monday morning crew:pccoffee:
Rusty this car brought back a memory of when step-dad had a new one as a company car. I remember he was power brake little tire spinning in the driveway and broke universal joint. May have been a 2 door model...I should call him and ask if he remembers.
Daughter's truck is looking pretty nice. The Eibach lift with adjustable front coils, 265/75/16 BFG AT
the mud flaps that worked without fender flares are made by weathertech. She has dark/smoke fog lights in hand and tail lights ordered but everyone seems out of headlight lenses. Sometimes a challenge I think ordering parts; like many aftermarket headlight lens are made for upper trim models that have the different daytime running lights. She's got the 4x4 and V6 emblem covers too.

Question shop friends, I'm preparing to replace the windows in my house. Taking vinyl out and putting vinyl in. The are the style with the fin that you screw from the outside. (No screws go in the jams ) any tips for me?

The guy I ordered through said the main thing is to set the bottom flat on the window frame. He says shiming the bottom can cause them to sag and bind over time.

If you already have vinyl windows it should not be to bad.

The real Fun windows are old farm houses with no 2 windows the same size.

my thoughts go out to any and all that might be dealing with these very strange monsoons I hope no one has suffered any major damage.

7" of rain in 45 minutes . I can not even Comprehend that amount of rain.

I have been very lucky just wind damage a panel worked loose and blew off the roof. A few tree branches nothing I could not drive over.

Minor washing out of the driveway No more low ground clearance cars .

I was surfing around the Amazon warehouse the other day and came across a boot dryer that was $40 regular $90. I saw in the reviews that it worked well, but didn't have much heat, the FAN did all the work. A light bulb went off.

I knew I had a few functioning computer fans...

I dug through my transformer and tiny switch stashes...
    IMG_20230717_102950.jpg IMG_20230716_111004.jpg
Found a good sized piece of plexi-ish glass, used more old picnic table wood for the handle, and repurposed a couple of gun powder jars...
    IMG_20230715_173409.jpg
And a boot dryer was born.
    IMG_20230717_140702.jpg

I tried to keep the ugly bits out of sight, but in the interest of full disclosure...
    IMG_20230717_140737.jpg

Come fall and winter, it will get a ton of use.

I would need to sell them at around $10K to break even if I included my labor. There is not even a meme for that.
