Help with wiring up a USB charger.

    I know this has been posted in the past, but what I found has not been very helpful. I did find a post on the tacoma world reddit but it has been deleted.

    I am installing the charger below and mounting it in the extra space below the climate control knobs. I am lost now on how to proceed.

    Red (usually) means 5V or 12V power in cases like this. Black is usually ground. Take those wiring pigtails and find places to connect them to. Be sure to understand if you connect them to "always on" circuits you could drain your battery by charging things when the key is off. Otherwise find a switched power source to tap that can handle whatever the fuse size is and now you got power.

    do you have a link to the product? It looks like that is a pass through from some other power (probably the 12v plug right there).
