I have a steel bumper on the front of my truck and no other added weight. Are 600 lb springs enough or will they sag with the bumper
I have? I’ve read online and have gotten mixed results.

    Full steel or hybrid?

also do you have steel skids/sliders?

I would say its ok if you don't have skids, full steel bumper would be pushing it. Hybrid might be ok.

I have a hybrid steel bumper, steel skids/sliders, and 650lb springs, and I like where I am for height

On my 3rd gen I have 14" 600lb springs. I have 150lbs worth of bumper/winch up front, along with aluminum RCI skid plate. They aren't adjusted to a ton of preload. Depending on the weight of the rest of the truck, the 14" 600lb springs are fine.

However, I only run my truck to about 2" of lift to keep max downtravel.

This is my 96 4X4 with a 10 GA plate bumper and a 8k winch. I have Fox shocks with the heavier springs… I don't remember the rating I just remember that it is above “stock”. I think there were only 2 options, stock and a 100 lb per inch greater option.
