    I drive a Miata.

I gave the front jackers an honest try. I'm 6'3". I tried a week, changing seat angles each day. I did not find a combination that was even remotely comfortable with them.

Some people love them, others hate 'em. I recommend picking up a used set (they are listed commonly enough) and giving them a try. If you love them, great. If not, pass them on to the next member.

I love the seat jackers but my only complaint is my knees are now super close to the steering wheel and my keys dangle on the top of my right knee.

worth it tho for the comfort.

Here’s an option you could try.

In my work truck, the seat was really bad. I was having problems walking my butt hurt so much. Like sitting in a crooked hole.

But know this. It’s super thick so now I’m up higher, which is actually better because I’m short and the sun visors did nothing before. There’s no straps so it moves around until you’re sitting on it. On the positive, being thick and dense, it actually cushions instead of just flattening.

Desert Does It makes the seat jackers. Unbelievable difference. I have a shorter torso and with hood scoop I felt short and uncomfortable. I used .75 combo of spacers in the rear with the front jackers and it is utterly perfect after adjusting the back of the seat a bit more forward. Line of sight now center of windshield and the only challenge now is not dosing off while driving distance runs. BTW, I had a left hip replacement and the right is now calling. No more ache thanks to the Jackers. Pricey yes, but so worth it for me anyways.

-I bought the Desert Does It seat jackers, had them for 2 months, then sold them for half of what I paid. With just the front jackers installed, the seat would hit the back side of my thighs in an uncomfortable way. Went ahead and put a couple of fender washers on the back rails and that now raised the seat too high in that I was occasionally hitting the ceiling just getting into the truck and when sitting in the seat and facing forward, I felt I was too high looking over the hood. I'm 5'9", so you being 6'1" would be a REAL problem.

The end solution for me was just 1 fender washer (Ace Hardware has them) under each side of the front rails, nothing under the back rails and it was just enough of a lift to make my lower back/thighs much happier. I was surprised at how just a 1/4" washer could make that much difference. So play around with washers 1st before spending more money. I wish I had.

Spacers go in the back. It's pretty well documented.

A bunch of dudes discussing a completely different product is not very well documented.

    Wow this exploded!

I’m going to install the seat jackets and give them a try.
I’m also going to get some more support for my small arse. And see if that works.

If not I might swap the seat out entirely with a furrrr runner or scion or something.

Supposedly having the seat back straight up during long drives is better. I know it sounds opposite of what should be.
