    Hello,

I recently installed a front diff spacer kit and noticed there was shiny threads showing on the bottom of the front diff rear support? No sure I’m calling it the right name, buts it’s the center mount on the front diff that balanced the diff once front supports were removed, for adding spacers. It kinda pivoted on this part I’m trying to describe. Anyway I noticed it before putting the skid plate back and my mechanic didn’t think there was anything missing, but these were very shiny threads, like new.

Not sure if I have the correct part here in my photo, but I do remember looking up and seeing new threads from the bottom, perhaps these circled items are missing?

Looked a lot like the second photo and they are calling it a nut?

    Any info would help. Thanks!

It does. I guess next time I take the skids off I’ll look closer.

Are you missing that nut? It is not a nutsert. Here's my front diff with the nut backed out a bit. iirc it takes a fat hex key on the bottom

I was looking up from the bottom and noticed shiny threads, I was assuming that being so fresh looking a bolt must go into the bottom, doesn’t look like that’s the case. Do you have pictures from the bottom you could share looking up into the nut? Thanks
