Hello everyone. I have. 2019 TRD 4x4 OR and I am thinking about lifting it 3” and putting 33” tires on it. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on a lift kit? I’ve looked at several different kits and wouldn’t mind hearing some feedback from others. So if you have any tips, tricks, recommendations, or suggestions, I’d love to hear it. Thanks

Do not use HELP in that manner. We reserve it for those stranded or in bad situations. Adjusted your title accordingly.

Thousands of options out there if you use the great resources this forum has to offer. If you are interested in a really nice Fox or King complete kit, shoot us a message

Do you want to lift it for looks or for offroad? And what is your idea of offroad performance?

If you want it done right get a set of tuned 2.5" fox elites with full deaver leaf packs from accutune for around $6k. (get the deavers over the icon rxt leafs) If you're on a budget go with the Bilstein 6112/5160 combo with an add a leaf or the fox 2.0 ifp's for around $1500-$2k. Eibach makes a lift in a similar price bracket as the Bilstein/Fox 2.0 combo, but personally I wouldn't choose it given the other options with similar prices. If you're really cheap and don't care about ride quality whatsoever get a cheap spacer lift and enjoy the looks while hating the ride quality. :hattip:

My Tacoma is my daily driver and I drive a lot for work so I don’t want to go cheap and have poor ride quality. But I still would like to do some off-roading so I’m willing to pay for what I get. I appreciate all the advice and will continue to research on anything you guys give me. But I came across Dobinsons and I’ve liked the reviews and what people have said about them. Anyone have any experience with Dobinsons?

Your truck is fine for that right now, or you could add spacers and trim to fit 33s.

If you want to go down gravel washboard roads in death valley or to try and keep up with your cousin who has a raptor then the price tag goes up quite a bit.

@Crikeymike is the resident Dobinsons expert I believe.

I will say this, I just upgraded the front coilovers from Toytec (all I could get during covid) to Fox Perfomance Elite 2.5 and its night and day. Got them from @AccuTune Offroad and they tune them. They ride 1000 x' better and I haven't even gotten the rears from them yet due to stock issues. I haven't gotten offroad yet so this is just a street assessment but I love them.

What other components did you choose? I've been leaning towards the Fox Elite 2.5's with deaver n98 leafs and accutune's uca's, u bolt flip and bump stop kit.

Edit: I should say what other components are you planning on choosing other than the elite 2.5's for the rear?

I used Camburg UCA’s and Alcan custom leaf springs in the rear. I don’t have much added weight from stock other than sliders.

I'd love to see how the upgrade and install came out. I'm about to purchase the AccuTune 05+ Tacoma Mid Travel Suspension Kit, Stage 4A – Fox Performance Elite Series (https://accutuneoffroad.com/product...on-kit-stage-4a-fox-performance-elite-series/) and just deciding on which tires and wheels to go with.

Looking for minimal poke and a more clean look. Not sure if I will go 33", but interested what yours looks like.
