I was at HD and saw this poor soul parked. He came out flicking his cigarette looking over at my dual cab sport aka the silver beast. I ain’t gonna lie, I like the look of the longer bed.

Rear speakers are in the doors just like the front speakers.

The AC/6ft bed looks proportionally correct.
    The DC/5ft bed looks wonky.

I also love the suicide doors (but I can see how others may hate em)

Honestly I'm sometimes wishing I would have got an access cab when I want to haul something longer. The 6 foot bed would be a little bit better. When I got mine I was often carrying other family that namely my mother and sister that didn't have a car anymore. Now that situation has changed I don't need the extra passenger room very often. It's just me most of the time and my partner. We don't have a pet since my cat died but a dog might be in the future. Who knows but either way I still love my truck and am not likely to change it. I find ways to load and secure stuff for remodeling projects so it's all good with a 5 foot bed. Sometimes just a bit more work to carry things home.

My rear seat is useless for adults. It has a lot to do with where you position your front seats, though. I'm 6'5". I can't even fold my rear seats down.

    Edit:I have a DCSB

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Slight technical error here. The Dual Cab short bed and the Access Cab have the same wheelbase.
The Dual Cab long bed has a longer wheelbase than the aforementioned.

This. I've always thought they looked a bit disproportionate with the DC and short bed.

Then this is the truck for you 100%. The only thing I don't like about my access cab is cramming the poor kiddo in the back. Its perfect for everything else. The proportions are better too.

I'm the same height. I just switched from a 2nd gen reg cab to a 3rd gen AC. I noticed the seat thing when I tried out a friends DC. I only switched to a AC because I'm getting too old to be comfortable on long drives in the reg cab. The AC is just right. One thing I noticed on the AC & DC, the front doors are smaller than they are on a 2nd gen reg cab. Makes it a bit harder to get in.
