Hey guys. Just bought myself a 09 double cab and am planning on installing a full stereo into it. I’ve got 2 10 inch subs for behind the seat, focal components for the front and focal coaxials for the rear and a new double din headunit. I’m planning on ignoring all the factory speaker wiring and just running my own 14 gauge speaker wire to the speakers and 6 gauge for the subs. I have 2 amps to power everything. Has anyone done anything similar? And if so do you have any tips for me. I’ve done a stereo install before on a couple Jeeps, but never on a Tacoma

Sound dampening, it’s a lot of work but finishes the job.

    I was
I was looking into sound dampening. I couldn’t figure out if the benefits would out weight the cost and time to install. I don’t mind road noise that much, my biggest goal with the system was just to get louder and better quality audio. Would you recommend it?
