Anyone know where I can find a 4-pin adapter that plugs into the factory harness under the bed (3rd gen)? It's not a standard 7-pin like I had thought.

I bought a hitch receiver light with a 4-pin and want to hide the wires rather than plugging into the factory port on the bumper.

Yes. Check at Harbor Freight Tools or Amazon. Used to have one.

Most adapters you will find will adapt the other part of that 7 pin, that looks like this:

But that wont plug into the connector you are holding. That connector will require a male metripack connector with 280 and one 630 make terminals. I could link to the stuff, but you'll need tools, and getting the TPAs isn't easy either. So, if you want to DIY, shoot me a PM and I can send you the parts and save you a big headache. Or, alternatively, you can send me the 4 pin harness you want to use and I'd be happy to crimp it for you, saving that little headache as well.

Correct. But after a little more research (actually by clicking on ScrippsRanch67's link and getting lucky) it appears that it's a USCAR socket and Curt makes the adapter I'm looking for https://www.amazon.com/CURT-55515-R...0060325&sprefix=uscar+to+4-pin,aps,110&sr=8-4

    Do you agree?
