    Ripped, Torn, Damaged.

Just noticed that one of my sumo springs is destroyed after about a years worth of use. Has anyone had luck with the warranty? Had to trim the bolt to install and I suspect they'll use it as a reason to decline the claim

How can I get the same level of performance with better durability? Is another brand worth a try?

you might include pics of damage and your bolt trim mod.
Also, I would give them a chance first.

Be interesting to see what the failure was. Sumo springs typically don’t fail unless made defectively. If you search the internet it is hard to find much on failures. Most failures I saw seem to point to something rubbing against them or incorrectly installed. I load the heck Out of my truck and use it off road. Never had an issue. Had them on my previous Chevy for 10 years and perfect. Not saying it can’t happen but some pictures of the failure might help

Its why I felt the need to make the post, I couldn't find much about issues. I haven't gone through the hassle of taking a photo and uploading it yet but the drivers side one seems to have split from the base/top ridge where it screws in and then about halfway across it splits down vertically.

No signs of external damage to the bump stop. The vehicle was used off-road and that is likely where it failed. The product performs well but I'd like to know if I should be looking for an alternative rather than a replacement.

I suspect they will warranty them as long as you can provide proof of purchase.
