Touchscreen issues on aftermarket head unit

I have a 2013 taco pre runner without the JBL set up. I have purchased a DS-18 head unit.
I have bench tested the the unit several times and everything works great. I install the radio and the touchscreen doesn't work. I have done this install/reinstall at least 4 times. On the 2nd install the touchscreen work for a moment and then stopped working .
I am completely stumped on this one.
Anybody ever had this same type of issue? Could it have something to do with the OEM bluetooth. Is there some type of Bluetooth signal unit In the harness that needs to be disconnected or removed?

 

Might you have the dimmer settings all the way down? Possibly the potentiometer to the left if the gauges dialled back?

 

Possible you popped a fuse? Easy to happen doing an install, all them wires dangling close to each other.

The radio was faulty. Sent it back, slapped in a Kenwood and all is well
