This will be the fourth center support bearing I have put in this thing in three years. The driveshaft cheked out, bearing fit is fine. I hope it's an example of "buy once, cry once" Toyota was awfully proud of this thing. AutoZone parts are absolute garbage. I don't care about the "warranty" I'm sick of replacing the same crap every year. Do yourselves a favor, learn from me. Just buy the Toyota parts. Brakes as well. The quality difference is night and dayIMG_0666.png

We coulda told ya that :smack:

I went with an autozone carrier bearing (in my defense, I was unemployed at the time)-it failed within 6 months. Replaced it with an OEM part, 5 years on, no issues.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Spicer carrier bearing for the win!

I have had good luck with Napa Ultra Premium Brake Parts. Napa needed to introduce a lower priced line of Parts in many locations Auto Zone and Advanced Auto are within sight. To attract the walk in and online business.

I just looked it up, it was 99 bucks, I also looked at the reviews. I wish I had earlier. Some people got 3 months out of it

    4 run, 2 don't
    4th?

    Holy shit.

You could've bought a Spicer for almost half that.

    OEM-quality for cheap.

So...I got a spicer unit and it instantly started squealing I think that day. I put a "precision bearing" one in and I think it's howling a little after about a year. I contacted the vendor about the spicer one and they started to make it a hassle for a refund or replacement so it's just in a box with all the other tacoma/4runner parts

Just curious who did you purchase The Spicer carrier bearing from that a return proved to much hassle for you?

I am sure we would love to know to avoid the same problem.

That is one thing I look at close warranty and return policy in these times.

    No problems several years.
