On Saturday I installed a Lensolar panel on my Tacoma. The install was very easy. I decide to try this to keep my battery topped off and keep my fridge/freezer running in hot weather.
Time will tell how this does, right now the best charging I have seen is 50.3w, which is only about 60-65% of the panel's rating. I have written the company to see what they say.

Looks good @jmanscotch, it makes for a more utilitarian look in my opinion plus the S1 lights and be used when things get dusty.
    Best,

Finally installed my 5100 lift with icon aal in the rear. Kept in the overload leaf too since I pull a trailer and store a bunch of gear in the back regularly.
Pretty easy install and the grinder and sawsall made short work of cutting the bracket thingamabobber off the stock leafs. Rides way better now over crappy roads!
Gained 1.75" in the front and 2 in the back (will remeasure after it settles). All in all- very happy with the install and even happier that I can trust my own own worksmanship!

Probably hitting up Uwharrie this weekend to test out my work

Looks great i went with an icon leaf pack over an aal. Seen too many times after a year or two. I have to make my way out uwharrie again. Wanted to pick up a spare set of steelies to throw 33s on for when I go. I run 265/75/16s with a small lift and a front skid

No drilling required. They are held on with 5 bolts per side. Pretty easy install also.

Did this effect your TSS at all? I really want to get a front bumper like this, but don't want to deal with it interfering with the TSS.

    Thanks

I wasn't aware that a product like that existed (that matches the vehicle shape perfectly); that's pretty cool. It will be interesting to see what the company says. As someone with panels on my house roof, I've learned that you always lose a little from the stated capacity in the wires, but the big hit (besides clouds of course) is temperature. I can generate as much electricity on a shorter cooler April day as on a longer hot June day. 35% seems excessive though; I see 10-15%.

Right now I can't think of a reason that I need such a panel, but my mind is trying to think of one!
