Have they come in handy for you? Or just a complete waste of space? Do they really act as a functional cooler?

Found someone nearby selling them for pretty cheap and was thinking about picking them up.

They suck. For the amount of bed space the rob they offer barely any storage. First thing I did was take mine out.

+1. A friend that had me lift her truck also asked me to remove these boxes. I checked them out myself and they're pretty useless and take up a TON of space. If you ever plan to put anything in your bed, pass on these.

#1 reason I didn't get a trail edition is the bed boxes. Total waste of space and money.

Buy some solid bins for a fraction of the cost of even the used ones. Just as functional. Less gimmicky.

Not really a fan of mine. Noticed my left side one was filled with water after a bad rain storm. So that doesn't leave me super confident with its insulation capability. I'll eventually remove them but I need somewhere to store them if I do.

Look at what they cost vs a similar capacity RTIC cooler. Answer solved.

Add a air stone and turn it into a live bait box?

I would love to buy them for my truck, but seems most trail owners around me are delusional about their value.

They are traction devices, fill them with sand or water during the winter.
