Yeah, the guy was talking about people stealing them as well. We were both like “they are a freaking dollar!”

 

I had 2537-a with the Goodyears as a kid. I used to pull the tires off for some reason and they got lost to time.

 

The annoying guy who posts the big cars rather than the little ones is back.

My best friend had one of these in high school and we spent many hours losing our hearing in it. His had a body kit front bumper, was about an inch off the ground and had two insanely loud 12" subs, but those were the days. I miss that car almost as much as my own first car.

 

I found a NEON ek9 with a jacked up card so I messed around a bit. This is a rough draft..

 

Nothing annoying about them at all.

 

That "black" van that's not so cool is actually a nice metallic blue? ...needs that eraser pen me thinks.

I have not checked the cooler section but might peek next time I'm at wally mart (haa haa). But I do walk the isles where the "kids" normally walk and have found left overs where kids dump the cars they were holding during their buggy ride with parent. I have found a few good ones that way. And yes, I always see opened containers to include the desired single car pulled out of a 5 pack. Back in the 70's I used to "borrow" the gum when I looked at the sport trading card section....didn't want the cards, just the chew. Dumb me.

Yeah I wish I’d never stopped to be honest! I was going through some of the stuff in boxes the other day and it brought back a ton of memories. I was the kid that would buy 2 of every car so I could play with one and not open the other…I wish now I’d left them all unopened
