I’m going to get a level kit in my 2005 Prerunner and I was trying to figure if getting 2 inches on the front would make the truck sit at a noticeable angle or if racism come out of the factory nose down like fords do?

Fords have racism from the factory?

    It's a truck.

ALL of them are designed to sit 2-3" higher in the back when unloaded. With a load in them, or hitched to a trailer they sit level. If you level the truck when unloaded, it looks like a dog dragging its ass down the road when you put a load in it.

First off, welcome to Tacoma World!

As others have said, trucks have "rake" meaning lower in front and higher in back. We can't say if 2 inches will give you what you want because stock leaf springs are known to sag on our generation, but the good thing is you can figure it out easily yourself. Take a tape measure from the ground up to a point on your front bumper area when the truck is sitting parked. Jack up the front of the truck until you like the way it looks (i.e. level it out yourself using the jack). Now re-take your measurement from the ground to the same point on your front bumper and figure out the difference. Now you know how many inches you want to get the perfect look for your own tastes.

I'm fairly sure if the part about Ford trucks was a typo but funny thing is it isn't false - those who know about Henry Ford know. Anyways that's off topic and I'm not trying to get banned so all I will say is thanks for the unintentional chuckle most of us got reading that.

A tape measure will tell you exactly what you are looking for and how much lift youd need to level.

It's a truck, if you want it level put a few hundred pounds in the box.

Rake has a purpose no? (Unless the vehicle has a very expensive self-level suspension)

You don't want to end up blinding oncoming drivers just because you put a max load in the bed.
