I recently put new control arms and shocks, coil overs and ball joints on my 2nd gen Taco. I noticed a few months later some clicking and rubbing noises when the wheel is fully turned. I looked underneath and noticed pretty bad rubbing. Can someone help me out? I don't know if I did something wrong while installing. I used MOOG control arms and ball joints. After i finished the work I took it in for an alignment and they said everything looked good. Aftermarket LCU's ? Might be a weird situation with non factory parts rubbing due to lift, the added angle is moving something closer than it should ?

If it’s only at full lock dab a bit of grease on the steering stops and see if the problem goes away. If so it’s just metal on metal at full lock and you’re probably OK

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
Those are the steering stops and are intended for contact to occur to protect the steering rack from over extension/compression

Those are meant to be there. All control arms will have those, aftermarket or OEM. Theyre the steering "stops" which stop your steering rack from over extending or compressing. As mentioned, dab a bit of grease or antisieze on that face of the LCA and turn the wheel full lock left then right to contact with the spindle.

Chiming in to also recommend a finger smudge of grease on each of those steering stops. I do this every oil change.
