    Wife/I went to the cabin again this past weekend. Hot as a mofo in Bakersfield (105) then cooled down to a nice 95 in the sun on the front deck.
    I'm really going to miss that place. a father/daughter came by on Saturday to tour the inside. Said it was nicer than any others they had seen in the area, and $100k cheaper than the next nicest one.
    We grilled some really nice ribeyes, with baby taters in butter/chive/garlic and leftover antipasto salad, with a fine chilled merlot we found in a box. Chateau St. Michelle, 2016 IIRC.
    I got up early Saturday morning, drove down to the lake. I was hoping to show how good us Cali boys can do with fishes. Goldens were jumping all around me when I got there at 6:30, but nothing would bite. Unfortunately I don't actually have fly gear, I'm normally more of a ocean guy. Worst day fishin is still better than the best day workin!

    Just got home. heck of a hot hard day. update on my cousin Steven. swelling is going down but bruiseing is running up his arm. hand surgeon saw him today. sounds like he will loose part of his finger if nothing changes. too much tissue damage. and i gave him a hard time for not killing the SOB.all picking of course.:thumbsup:

    maybe but if they do locate the bear and it hasn't ever gotten in trouble before they could possibly relocate it to a wilderness area. sometimes they give them a second chance - especially in a case like this where it was likely just reacting and defending itself. the area it happened in was pretty close to town. sounds like she was out jogging without bear spray and i wouldnt be surprised if she had headphones/earbuds in too
