    hi I'm new here. and i have a question. I have a 2004 prerunner v6 truck. and i recently installed a set of wheels with a 108mm center bore and i read somewhere that the truck has a 106mm hub. do i need center rings?

    These trucks are hub centric, so yes. As for specific measurements, I don’t know those offhand.

    I can't speak to 2nd or 3rd gen trucks, but 1st gen 6-lug trucks are lug centric, not hub centric.

    @Altower634 Who installed the wheels? Did the mention any issues? Do you have any wheel/tire based vibrations with the new wheels? As long as you got lug centric wheels and the correct lug nuts, you should not need anything else to center the wheel.

    I got 108mm wheels on 106mm hub. I purchased a set of aluminum hub rings that sits on the hub that lines all of the bolt holes up perfectly. No vibration at any speed even up to 90mph.

    Toyota has been hub-centric for awhile, even the steel wheels fit/sit on the hub and the acorn nuts just hold the wheel on

    there may be some lug centric but the 6-bolt since the 80s have the same hub (even today on 2023 Tacoma/T4R)
