What's this???

This little button showed up out of nowhere today, what's it for, I checked the reset button thinking it broke off somehow but that's not it

 

Is that the tire pressure monitering system reset button, or is that what you said you had checked?

 

if that’s not your TPS reset I would trace the wires just for the curiosity sake,

 

If you have an aftermarket car alarm system, it's probably the valet mode button. It's usually hidden under the dash area like that.

There's a button marked on the dash as reset, it's not that one, this was tucked behind the dash, another guy said it could be from an aftermarket Alarm but don't have one, I do have a aftermarket remote start, it could be from that, guess I'll have to track them

 

It’s your passenger ejection button.
Very useful when your passenger is annoying.
