The sliders (also from RCI) are in week #6 of an 8 week lead time:

Would there be any reason you shouldn't put 16" wheels with a larger tire on a TRD Sport? I know it came with 17" wheels and the SR's and Offroads come with 16's but have different suspension components (I think). Is it all just for personal aesthetics?

Taller sidewall is more common for off-roading. More 'squish' to absorb bumps, can air down more. I believe both the Sport and OR end up w/ a 31" tire stock. Just the proportions change (and yes, the shocks are different too - it probably has to do with how fast they compress and rebound).
If you mountain bike, it's the same principle: the bigger tires are part of the suspension, can run at a much lower PSI, and are the first line to absorbing the bumps.

If you need specifics, ask the more experienced/skilled folks here. I get the concepts but don't have the mechanical skills to do what others do.

Edit: I'd expect the Sport to handle a bit better on pavement with the lower profile tires and less bouncy shocks. I have no idea how much difference that makes as it's still a truck and I've never driven a Sport. I rarely see one in my state. I'm pretty sure a Sport would handle anything I will do off-road, but being human I had to buy more capability than I need to get to trails/camping/exploring.

16" rims will require a higher profile tire to compensate for the change in gear ratio.
This is a good resource to answer that question specifically.

The charger pad gets a bubble in the center which makes it work even less. I disabled mine after I fixed it after it bubbled as it's never really /off/ even when off and is incapable of charging newer phones with larger batteries. I charged my Pixel 5 okay, but lost a % of battery on my Pixel 7 Pro after 20 min and the phone was blazing hot.

    No, not at all!

Just make sure to get the full hoop height. The mid height does not work.

Yeah, no mountains here and she is a pavement princess. Lol! I was just curious because I found a set of 16" SR wheels I like, but really did not want a smaller wheel. Just the sport rims aren't my favorite style. I really want some 17" TRD pro sema wheels but haven't found a deal I like on them yet.. Thanks for the input!

Slammed it into a truck that blew through a red light. Thankfully this is the only day this week that I didn’t take my motorcycle. IMG_9734.jpgIMG_9737.jpg

Flashed the OTT Medium-Spicy today. Already notice a difference in pep from a stop as well as shifting. I didn’t really think the shifting was that bad from stock. Now I notice there was a lot of unnecessary shifting that is now resolved after the tune. I’ll post a more thorough review in the OTT thread in the Performance and Tuning sub forum after I get through a tank or two.

Nobody wins in those cases but your truck really held its own and then some.
    Sorry it happened.
