I want to get a tonneau cover and an air compressor soon. The next big holiday would be Labor Day but I’m not sure if there are any decent sales worth waiting for around that time of year. I don’t expect Black Friday type deals but was wondering if LD is a holiday that usually has good sales.

Unless you need it right now, deals always help the wallet :) really depends but most companies do something for Labor Day, maybe not as big as 4th of July or Black Friday

what air compressor are you looking for? Viair, Smittybilt, arb, moorflate?

Make sure you get the "Automatic" then. It is the one that fills the tank and then shuts off automagically. Less heat, less noise, worth the little bit extra cost. I have the 400P Automatic mounted on a Desert Does It panel under the passenger seat and it works great.

What is the benefit of that cover or getting it through that site? I’m not sure I understand what’s going on lol. The original poster said they got a pretty big discount, is that really true?

The viair 400p automatic is nice. I just wish you can set the pressure to like 35psi and it will automatically turn off so i could hook it up to my Waterport. I may add an epauto tire inflator to the mix on some trips to try it out as a combo with the waterport.

Honestly, in retrospect after buying a bakflip mx4, i would say just get something off facebook market. People sell them for like 1/3 new

Picked up one of those used ones. I think they’re new but just damaged boxes.

Why not wait and put an ARB twin somewhere in the engine bay

potentially useful for onboard air supply
    Operate lockers
    Fast airing up
Many different location brackets available (I’m not sure what’s best in terms of behind grill vs by intake, or behind cowl)
