Been using Tufskinz mudguards for the past few years and they’re great but very stiff.
I recently broke one on the rear so I put my OEM guards back on for now.
Has anyone running the OEM mudguards experienced them digging into the fender flare paint?
I recall seeing a thread about an older gen Tacoma having flare paint damage from the old OEM guards.
I’ll probably switch to something else as we get closer to winter but also wanted to run these for a bit until then.

Yeah, older OEM mudflaps ate away at the paint horribly. Not uncommon given how they blow around in the wind and rattle in direct contact with your paint. Many aftermarket options offer a PPF to lay down on your paint before you put the mud flap on to prevent that.
