    Found a much more affordable option than Rhino or Yakima roof rack tie downs- climbing anchors! $4 vs 15-20 each and much stronger IMG_3900.jpg

    I used the Hando garage T-nuts. https://hondogarage.com/products/toyota-utility-track-t-nut-4-pack

    The Leer hardware blocks the rail so you would either have to pre-insert all your hardware before mounting or use something like the Hondo so you can add T-nuts after installation. Any T-nut from Amazon will work fine if nothing is mounted to the rail.
