Disc golf

I havent really played the last few years, medical issues etc. But I am planning on getting back on the courses pretty heavy here soon. Anyone else in the thread a PDGA member? If so what is your rating?

 

I don't have a membership anymore, but when I did I was rated around 875 I think. I don't play enough tournaments to make the membership worth it anymore. I might pay for one again next year though, we'll see. What about you?

 

Started playing about 9 months ago, and have been hooked since.

Wish I had started 20+ years ago rather than bowling.

Have bought more discs than I need, and found plenty more that I should just give away.

Hot TX summer and having a pool, I haven't played much in the last month.

Really need to correct that.

 

It is definitely something I wished I had picked up in high school(25 years ago), but regardless is always a good time! Sometimes its not about the score but more so about the walk in nature.(That sounds hippieish, but it is nice)

I've never been competitive with disc golf or really anything for that matter. More of a fun thing to do one afternoon or on the weekend. Thus no PDGA registration. I have been playing for near 20 years now though and have introduced my wife as well. She is pretty good now and I may need to get her some additional discs after an incident near the creek 2 weeks ago....
