    Ooh, let's go

Steve drives warily down the trail
With the 4 wheel way down low
Ain't no sound but the engine revs
    Clutch pedal ready to go

Are you ready? Hey, are you ready for this?
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat?
He makes the drop, he hits the ground,
His truck lies in defeat, yeah

Lower ball joint bites the dust
Lower ball joint bites the dust
Lower ball joint gone, lower ball joint gone
Lower ball joint bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna snap you too
Lower ball joint bites the dust

How do you think I'm going to get along?
    Without you, when you're gone
You took me for 15 miles on the trail
And left me out on my own

Are you happy, are you satisfied?
At least you didn't die on the street,
    Failing at 65 mph
turning me into a blob of meat, look out

Lower ball joint bites the dust
Lower ball joint bites the dust
Lower ball joint gone, lower ball joint gone
Lower ball joint bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you too
Lower ball joint bites the dust

    Hey

    Oh, take it
    Bite the dust
    Bite the dust

Lower ball joint bites the dust
Lower ball joint bites the dust, ow
Lower ball joint bites the dust, hey, hey
Lower ball joint bites the dust, hey-eh-eh

There are plenty of ways you can hurt a man
And bring him trouble all around
You can tip him, you can flip him
You can roll him off a cliff and leave him 6 feet underground, yeah

But I'm ready, yes, I'm checking for play
At 80k and then every 5
But what's that? You're not OEM?
it's only been 40 and you're taking a dive, oh, no

Lower ball joint bites the dust
Lower ball joint bites the dust
Lower ball joint gone, lower ball joint gone
Lower ball joint bites the dust
Hey, I'm gonna get you too
Lower ball joint bites the dust

    spin out
    Ay-yeah
    Alright

Supercharger would add back enough power to fix that and then some :burnrubber:

Nice idea. @Ozark_RegCab However, I would need to keep it in Newton County where the trails are wide, and maybe the parts of the Ouachitas where big tractor-trailer rigs go. A 3rd gen 4Runner is the right size for around here.

If I had stayed with 32s, I would have been strongly temped by 4.56s. But the ultimate goal was 33s so I went with 4.88s. If you keep your truck light, like below 4500 lbs, the 4.56s and 32s will be a good combination and give you your CC back. Much more driveable than what you have now.

Does that grimmjeeper calculator take into consideration the differences in final drive trans gears? That RPM number seems a bit high for the A340F. FWIW, with 285/75-16s or 285/70-17s and 4.88s, at 2500 rpm I am going 70 mph (GPS) and the truck loves it. Right in the power band of the 5VZ.

I like the interior of a second gen. But one thing I noticed while driving it is I had nowhere to put my left elbow. It's designed for such a smaller person that like my forearm is where the elbow portion is. So I think I ended up cutting a piece of foam for the rest of that trip just so I had somewhere to put my arm

I noticed this when I first got mine. I just drive with my left hand on the top of the wheel. It's a habit that carried over from my 1st gen that is a manual. Even thow the 2nd gen is a automatic I still keep my right hand on the gear select.
It also helps keep your left arm from getting sun burnt.
