Looking for some help I have a 2021 Trd sport with 265/65/17. Im getting the trd lift kit installed 2” infront and 1” in back along with Toyo At3 tires. The dealership said they won’t install any bigger tires then the stock size. Just seeing if anyone had a picture with trd lift with that tire size I’m worried it will look kinda odd with the smaller tires.

    Thanks

Just go to your local tire dealer and order tires from them. Prob be a better price too.

Check out this thread and watch out for rubbing. Also, I never buy tires from a dealer.

Will the stock size tires look odd? Yea, it'll look a little bit out of place but not bad. I haven't got the lift yet but when I do, I plan on doing what a lot of guys do and size up by one. Stock tire is 30.7 inch and the next size is 31.7. Fills it out a little better. Bigger sizes mean offset rims and/or trimming. I seen some go with the next size of almost 33 and it looks to cramped in, unless you cut the bumper and body mount plate weld

Here's a picture someone posted (its an OR not a sport)

Your problem is your choice of installer.

In fact, you can do that much lift with quality product at another shop for a lot less $ too.

You can run 33s on OE wheels with no lift, no mods if you're interested in tires for off road performance

    265/65/17 gonna look small imo

    265/70-17 stock

Vs even bigger 275/70-17 with lift

Prob going to want to go to at least 265/70-17. May have to remove air damn possibly mud flaps but shouldn't have any rubbing otherwise

dd light bars, trd cat back exhaust, KDMax tuned, trd skid plate, 2" lift, sema wheels toyo open country at3 tires.
265/70/17 with 2x2 lift. after the dealer installs the lift, go buy the at3's in 265/70 at a tire store. make sure the dealer does an alignment, ask for as much positive caster as you can without getting the camber, and toe out spec. get before and after print outs too. Ski

Thank them for the lift install and go get bigger tires somewhere else. You won't regret it, but you will regret the lift with tiny tires...

I had the Bilstein 5100s set on the 4th perch, one inch rear block, 265/70/17 Toyo open country at2 on OEM TRD pro 4runnner wheels and it's looked great. I had no issues but after seeing some 285s in person I couldn't resist. So I put on a set of new 285/70/17s Toyo open country at3s, went up the top setting on the 5100s for the perfect stance as it now rides better which may be the newer at3s. I had the alignment redone by the off road shop that did my lift. No rubbing, no cutting, still on OEM upper control arms and I still have the OEM
mud guards. The wheels are the perfect offset, stance and look I wanted. It does look better and I got them in an SL rating which the mpgs are the same but I was upgraded to the new kdmax tune and an inline calibration from hypertech.
