I recently took my 2020 Tacoma TRD Off-Road out on the trails last weekend. We ran over a nasty branch that pulled the male plug out of the female Neutral safety switch. The truck made it out of the woods fine, however I realized the lights on the center console P,R,D,N,S were not lit up and the backup camera would not work. I shut the truck off and it I could not get it to turn back on. I read some threads on this site and figured it was my neutral safety switch. After finally locating it behind some hoses on the right side of the truck I saw that the plug was disconnected. I plugged it back in and now the lights on the center console finally came back on. But the truck will not start properly and will only idle for a little bit before shutting off. When I press the gas pedal or shift out of park the truck will immediately shut off.

Does anyone have any advice on what I could do next? I am officially lost. Thank you in advance.

If the harness got pulled hard enough to unplug the range switch connector then odds are one or more wires got broken, one or more pins got pulled out of the connector, and/or the range switch was damaged.
I'd inspect the connector and harness in that area carefully for broken wires and bent/dislodged pins.
