Super happy to be returning to a toyota platform after spending a month and 8k in parts on an 04 Sprinter only to have three more problems than I started with

thanks, absolutely my favorite gen, and easy to love

Hopefully a baby lift, manual hubs, and a hidden winch wont turn you off too much..

Everyone does their own thing. A '00 was my 1st Tacoma and 1st new truck. Probably my favorite. I did "upgrades" to that truck that looking back, I'm like, what was I thinking? There was something call a deckplate mod. Cut a hole in your airbox, what made that a good idea? Spacer lift with blocks in the rear. Nerf bars. Shiny chrome wheels. Black wheels were just becoming a thing back then. To me, you had black wheels if you couldn't afford chrome or hubcaps. Ugh... So foolish

I would put a years salary on this site collectively holding more info about tacomas than Toyota itself.
    Hands down

    Oh, and nice ride.
    That '01 brings back memories.

So wait, you’re saying its not a toyota ploy to leave a bunch of extra horsepower and efficiency on the table
just because the epa was too lame to let them drill a 4” hole in the airbox? Next you’ll tell me throttle body spacers dont do anything. You sir are a monster.

I’ll be gasket matching the intake on my NA motor if you need me.
