Hey everyone! Just want to start by saying I’ve learned a lot from Tacoma World, thank you all so much for your time. So I’ve done about 60 clusters so far and strictly just Toyotas. But all the clusters I’ve done (excluding aftermarket ones) are previous of model year 2015. I’ve heard the newer models have the ODO with each pin soldered to the board, and a lot are fiber optic needles, and just stuff like that. With what you guys might know, is a good idea for me to take in customer(s) and start doing these newer clusters? Just not sure if the 2016+ are too difficult as opposed to the previous years. What do you think? Thank you so much for your time and knowledge, Tacoma World!

Buy a gauge cluster from a junkyard and dissect it to see what you're working with, don't just go into a "customers" car blindly.

Ok! How would I power the board to make sure I did everything right without causing a fire? Normally I have the car here and can just plug back into the car to make sure it’s done correctly before buttoning up. And thanks for the reply btw, brotha. Appreciate your time
